Focus Novice Competition

Last Thursday evening saw the last ‘competition’ of our club year, our Novice Competition.

For this we asked our novices to submit 2 mono images and 2 colour images. The awards were broken down into: Best Colour, Best Mono, commended images and finally best portfolio.

We invited long time friend of the club John Lambe to judge for us. John pre-judged for us and then on the night gave some critique and comments on the images.

Results:

Best Portfolio: Philip Blair and Vanessa Eakin

Best Colour Image: Michael Davidson

Best Mono Image: Vanessa Eakin

Commended Colour Images: Philip Blair, Carolyn Carlisle and Conor McCorry
